Main Arena

The Snow Machine Main Arena will be lighting up in our brand new venue, located between Happo and Iwatake (right next to Kurashita Onsen)! Main Arena nights are Thursday 5th, Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March! Main Arena gates open at 4pm with the show finishing at 10pm each night. Check out the set times on the Snow Machine app. 

If you’re staying in Happo you can easily walk to the Main Arena – it’s a 15 minute walk from central Happo. There will be buses running to/from the other main villages.

We encourage you to give yourselves plenty of time as it always takes longer than you expect to get from the mountain to your hotels and freshened up before hitting the Main Arena.

Main Arena Bus Transfers

Main Arena bus shuttles will operate all three nights of Main Arena events;

Thursday 5th, Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March.

Buses will run on a nightly loop to Main Arena between 4pm-7pm. Return trips will start from 7:30pm.

If you have purchased a Snow Machine accommodation package, your Main Arena Bus wristband will be in your welcome pack, at your accommodation.

If you have purchased ticket-only, you can buy your Main Arena Bus Passes by clicking below and collect your wristband from the Snow Machine Store.

We have Main Arena bus stops in all the major villages in Hakuba, click below and pin the location nearest to your accommodation.

You will need to walk from your accommodation to the nearest bus stop; the buses will not be picking-up/dropping-off at any hotels.

If you’re staying in Happo, you’re just a short walk to the festival site!

Main Arena Public Access Map

The bus will be dropping off and picking up in the same location, a short walk (5min) from the entry to Main Arena. See the map below!

Main Arena Paid Parking

If you have a car and are driving to Main Arena, we will have paid parking available a short walk (5min) from Main Arena, you can either buy a single day parking pass or a parking pass for all three nights of main arena. 

After purchasing, please head to the Snow Machine Store (Blizzard Carpark in Happo Village) to exchange your ticket for a parking pass sticker before making your way to Main Arena.

Please note: Access to the paid parking area is via the Fire Station only. Please map to HERE, to get on the correct road to access the parking.

Limited free parking is available in Happo Village, at Happo Car Park 5. It’s about a 15min walk to the Main Arena from this location.

Main Arena – Public Pick Up and Drop

There will be a designated area for drop off and pick up spot, for all other transfers. This will be right by the Hakuba Recycling Centre HERE, please see map above.

This applies to Taxis, Uber, accommodation transfers, or if a friend is dropping you off and not attending the festival.
