Hakuba Transport Guide

Your Guide To Getting around Hakuba

Navigating Hakuba can be a bit tricky at first, especially with all the different resort shuttle schedules and timings to keep track of. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Take a look at the information below, plan your route ahead of time, and you’ll be cruising around the valley with ease.

The simplest way to figure it all out is to ask at your accommodation. They’ll have the most up-to-date schedules and tips on the best ways to get where you need to go.

If you’re staying in self-contained accommodation, don’t worry! There are three main options to help you get around the valley.

  1. Resort Shuttle Buses, most of which are free but can be infrequent
  2. Hakuba Valley Shuttle Buses, which cost ¥800-¥1,000 but run frequently throughout the day
  3. Additional Snow Machine Shuttle Buses, free buses put on by the resort to help you get around the valley
